Summary:

Our client is seeking for a Risk & Control Data Analyst to lead compliance initiatives across their Technology and Cyber Security platforms. This critical role supports our highly regulated financial services environment and Critical National Infrastructure operations by delivering comprehensive risk and compliance management information. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to produce accurate MI that enables informed decision-making for the CTO and Board level governance. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, automation expertise, and advanced data visualization skills to maintain impactful dashboards and datasets for regulatory and internal policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver timely, accurate dashboards and MI for various management forums and reports
Enhance, manage, and maintain reporting dashboards and associated data feeds using Power BI
Generate actionable insights from data analysis to recommend solutions for addressing compliance trends and gaps
Monitor data for compliance deviations against established Policies & Standards frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholder groups to discuss and resolve compliance metrics and issues
Maintain and update KPIs, technical procedures, and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness
Ensure the function can demonstrate compliance with audit, regulatory, and governance requirements
Lead automation initiatives and mentor junior team members while contributing to broader IT strategic objectives
Execute daily team operations while meeting established Service Level Agreements

Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong experience in Finance/Information Technology sector roles
Extensive in analysing complex datasets to identify trends, compliance gaps, and data anomalies
Proficiency in adjusting data visualization techniques for different audience requirements
Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple timely deliverables
Effective relationship management across diverse global organizational structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex compliance challenges

Technical Skills Required:
Data Visualization : Proficiency in creating effective MI dashboards and data presentation tools
Analytics : Strong analytical capabilities for data set analysis, trend identification, compliance deviation detection, and KPI reporting
Automation : Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or equivalent technologies
Data Management : Expertise in managing complex data including transformation and normalization processes
Power BI : Advanced skills in creating and maintaining MI dashboards
Agile Delivery : Experience working within Agile frameworks (Jira, Confluence, user stories, sprints, backlogs)
KPI Development : Proven ability to develop metrics for IT and DevSecOps environments

Desirable Knowledge Areas:
Information Technology and Information Security tooling platforms
Exchange industry technologies and related systems
Risk & Compliance Frameworks implementation
RESTful APIs, network protocols, and configuration technologies
