Thisrole within the Total Reward team will play a pivotal role in usingadvanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to extractsignificant insights from Diverse HR data sources

Yourpurpose is to decipher complex data, uncover trends, and deliveractionable insights tostakeholders

  • Yourforemost responsibility is to conduct thorough and insightful dataanalysis. You extract, clean, and transform Reward and widerrelevant HR data, deriving significant insights to driveevidence-baseddecision-making.

  • Conductrapid data analysis to extract insights from HR datasets,identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities foroptimisation.

  • Generatereports, presentations, and visualisations that effectively conveydata-driven insights to non-technicalstakeholders

Bycollaborating with HR professionals and collaborators, the roleaims to drive evidence-based decision-making to drive the TotalReward strategy in supporting the bank's growth and operationalexcellence. The role will sit as part of a community of practice ofData Science allowing many networking and developmentopportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • DataAnalysis and Modelling: Conduct in-depth analysis of Reward and HRdata to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities forimprovement.

  • Buildand refine predictive models to forecast workforce dynamics andattritionrisk.

  • AlgorithmDevelopment: Create innovative machine learning algorithms tooptimise our Total Reward offering in line with market benchmarksand personalising to specific role types.

  • ContinuousImprovement: Stay abreast of the latest data science techniques andtrends, continuously enhancing the bank's HR analyticscapabilities.

  • Performexploratory data analysis on Reward and HR datasets to uncovertrends andanomalies.

  • Usevisualisation tools and techniques to provide user friendly insightto help answer specific questions.

  • Providingaccurate and insightful data analysis to support the strategy oftheteam.

  • Createand evolve tools, dashboards and models to drive decision making onkey Rewardtopics.

  • Collaboratewith HR teams to understand use cases before designing andimplementing innovativesolutions

  • Leadefforts to enhance data quality, integrity, and security withinReward datasources.

Whatyou’llneed:

You'rethe sort of person who is enthusiastic and curious aboutdata/insight, and passionate about great customer outcomes. With anenquiring mind and an innovative nature, you can demonstrateessential problem-solving skills to provide simple and effectivesolutions.

You'llbe able to communicate and tell stories using data to bothtechnical and non-technical audiences whilst challenging thecurrent offering to drive innovative approaches to peopledata.

Youcan take the lead on projects and use a Product mindset to solvecustomer/collaborator needs, and be experienced in working with andinfluencingothers.

You'llhave some experience working in Data Science roles, preferablywithin an HR function or working with PeopleData.

Skills&Experience:

  • DataScience Expertise: Profound understanding of advanced dataanalytics, statistical modelling, machine learning, and datamanipulation

  • ProgrammingLanguages: Proficiency in Python/R and related data sciencelibraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas,scikit-learn).

  • SQLProficiency: Solid skills in querying and manipulating data fromrelationaldatabases.

  • DataModelling: Experience in designing and creating optimal data modelsto streamline FinOps

  • DataVisualisation – experience in using a range of tools includingPowerBi andTableau

  • DomainKnowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HR processes, policies,and challenges within the bankingsector.

  • Storytelling& Communication: Excellent verbal and written communicationskills to convey complex findings to non-technicalcollaborators.

  • Collaboration:Demonstrable ability to work closely in multi-functional teams andinfluencedecision-making.

  • ProblemSolving: Creative problem-solving skills to address unique HRchallenges using data-drivenapproaches.
