We're looking for a commercially mindedRetail Data Strategy Analystwith substantial experience in banking, fintech or financial services. You'll need deep expertise in SQL, a sharp analytical mindset, and a proven ability to translate customer and commercial data into actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of product, finance and marketing, and data, so we're after someone confident navigating cross functional teams and driving decisions with data. Experience working tools like Looker, dbt and Python is a bonus, but storytelling with data is essential. We want someone who's curious, business savvy, and not afraid to challenge assumptions to uncover growth opportunities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Banking, Marketing, Finance and Data teams to understand customer behaviour, product and feature trends
• Perform exploratory data analyses to identify arising challenges and new opportunities including proposing potential solutions
• Build and maintain retail customer and commercial related feature tables in our warehouse using dbt
• Perform descriptive analysis using Looker visualisations and dashboards

Skills

• Extensive experience with SQL
• Deep experience with handling data in Python
• Experience with (or willingness to learn!) dimensional modelling and dbt
• Familiarity with a BI tool such as Power BI or Looker
• Great communication skills
• A creative thinker with a keen attention to detail

Interview process

Interviewing is a two way process and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get

to know us, as much as we are getting to know you! Our interviews are conversational and

we want to get the best from you, so come with questions and be curious. In general you can

expect the below:

• Stage 1 - Chat with one of the Talent team
• Stage 2 - Take home challenge
• Stage 3 - 60 mins technical interview with two team members
• Stage 3 - 45 min final with an executive and a member of the People team
