The insight teams mission is to influence Tesco to make confident decisions because we understand Customers and Colleagues better than anyone. Our key priorities are setting the customer agenda, commercialising insight, storytelling and democratising insight across the business.


In this role you will use expertise in market research to develop insight about Customers, Competitors or the Market that aligns to the needs of the business.



You will be responsible for:



Supporting the delivery of high quality, robust and impactful research projects with recommendations that can be actioned in a fast paced business environment.

Translating research findings to answer business questions, using story telling skills to bring this insight to life.

Delivering research projects via both our in-house tools including creating questionnaires, analysing results and via our agency partners including briefing and project management.

Working closely with other Researchers, and Insight Managers, alongside key agency partners to devise the best approaches and methods for our research studies. Be an active participant in this community.

Work with colleagues across the Insight team to help support the development of future tools and capabilities being developed.



You will need:



Strong analytical, data interpretation and visualisation skills are essential.

Experience in scripting questionnaires and analysing survey results

Experience in a research agency with end-to-end project management of research projects.

Ability to manage multiple projects

Commercial awareness combined with a curiosity to learn more about customers.

Great written and verbal communication skills with a clear attention to detail.
