Senior Python Developer – Build Scalable Solutions with Cutting-Edge Tech!



Location:Devon (this is not a remote role and will require twice per week visit to the office)

Salary:up to £70,000

We’re on the hunt for ahighly skilled Python Developerto play a key role inmodernizing and optimizingour telematics applications. You’ll be designing and implementingscalable cloud solutions, integrating AWS services, and working onreal-time data processingat scale.



What You'll Be Doing:


✅ Designing, implementing, and maintainingscalable, real-time telematics applications

✅ Optimizing code forlow latency and high throughputto handlelarge-scale vehicle data

✅ Using AWS services likeEC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS

✅ Implementingcontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes) andserverless architectures

✅ Ensuring securedata transmission and storagealigned with industry best practices

✅ Monitoring performance with AWS tools likeCloudWatch and X-Ray

✅ Collaborating withdata engineers, DevOps, and product teamsto drive innovation



What We’re Looking For:


Expert Python developerwith experience in high-performance systems

✔ Strong background inscalable and efficient software design

✔ Experience withAWS services(S3, Lambda, Glue, Aurora, Kinesis, etc.)

✔ Skilled incontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

✔ Strong knowledge ofGit, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD practices

✔ Familiarity withETL processes, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Agile methodologies

Bonus points if you have experience withJava, C++, or MS Azure data warehousing!
