Production Controller

Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire

Salary: £35,000 per annum, plus benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Controller to join our team at our site in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing and delivery of critical safety systems used in cutting-edge aerospace applications.

You will work within the Pyrotechnic department, supporting the production plan and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is a highly collaborative position involving regular coordination with teams across Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to deliver defect-free products on time and to exacting specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Support production planning and implementation of corrective actions to address and prevent defects.

Process and manage ammunition data cards and contract data requirements.

Maintain the customer order book and prepare delivery reports.

Back-up the Shipping department with handling of outbound deliveries.

Review production documentation for completeness and compliance before customer presentation.

Conduct checks on packing and production cards to ensure data integrity and prevent booking errors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Previous experience in data processing and production coordination, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

Strong planning, organisation, and analytical skills.

Highly detail-focused with strong data entry accuracy.

Confident working with technical documentation and quality procedures.

Familiarity with US Government packing/shipping standards is an advantage.

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.

Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally in a high-performance environment.
