The Opportunity

As a member of Eviden’s Digital Transformation Consulting (DTC) Practice, you will operate within a fast-paced Consulting environment, comprised of more than 850 diverse and high performing experts worldwide. We have delivered multiple award-winning projects recognized by the UK Management Consultancies Association.

Within this role, you will join the Digital Strategy, Insight & Experience team. This team is responsible for leading our clients on a journey from insights to experience transformation and typically provides clients with the following services: discovery, experience strategy & design, concept development, product management and experience measurement.

The ideal candidate we are seeking for will have a solid background inthe Government Digital Service (GDS) Agile Delivery Frameworkand a proven history of designing and delivering end-to-end digital products for government clients.

Note:This role is UK based and may require UK domestic travel, as the need arises. The candidate should also hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organizations.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap, aligning with company goals and market needs.
  • Combine knowledge of industry trends with user needs and business goals to frame problems and set priorities for your delivery teams.
  • Manage product backlog, enabling features, user stories and initiatives to be prioritized based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Oversee product development cycles (e.g., Agile sprints) to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
  • Ensure that product solutions meet business and customer needs while balancing technical and resource constraints.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmaps, and updates to stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and customers.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, user engagement, and profitability.
  • Identify and address product issues, risks, and bottlenecks proactively.
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to understand user pain points and opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the company, ensuring that products meet the real needs of users.
  • Have strong stakeholder management, workshop design and facilitation skills.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an open and collaborative culture, celebrating progress, and sharing lessons learned with the wider team.

Required skills and experience:

  • Designing and delivering end-to-end digital products in government, Government Digital Service (GDS) agile delivery framework.
  • Familiar with the end-to-end design lifecycle (discovery, experience strategy & design, concept development, product management and experience measurement).
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and application of an agile mindset to all aspects of work.
  • User-Centered Design Services which can be demonstrated through successful project delivery and the achievement of key success measures for projects.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with client partners and users.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Understand users and can identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence. You can translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs. You can engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users. You put users first and can manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working with a range of specialists in multidisciplinary teams. Good collaboration and communication skills, particularly with Development teams and influencing them.
  • Experience of delivering working in a large-scale software delivery and support organization.
  • Passionate about learning new development technologies and ways of working to improve the outputs of teams and improve customer outcomes.
  • Relevant experience of at least 3 years in Product Management or Customer Experience understanding user needs and then developing solutions, products, and services to meet these and link to broader outcomes.
  • Experience participating in GDS assessments.
  • Familiar with Service Design, Scaled Agile, Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, or similar techniques.
  • Experience undertaking quantitative and qualitative research.
