If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.PositionWe are seeking a passionate, business driven and customer-focused Principal Technology Consultant to drive the technological vision & strategy of GlobalLogic’s Retail and Consumer Business Unit, to spearhead our growth. This is a high-impact role that will focus on harnessing existing capabilities, developing new offerings and applying them towards shaping and growing the business in this sector.You will be instrumental in advising clients on the design of innovative, relevant solutions in this sector to drive the growth of the business in UK&I.Our ideal individual is an energetic, technology visionary who will support GlobalLogic’s strategy of becoming the market leader for Engineering Impact through intelligent products, platforms, and services in the Retail and Consumer sector.This role is based in the GlobalLogic UK&I London office.ResponsibilitiesEngage

Retail and Consumer clients, prospects and partners, to bring to life our capabilities & expertise in a consultative and engaging way.Define technology strategies

that enables Retail and Consumer digital transformational programmes at the intersection of design, engineering, and data, that help clients become software-defined, intelligent, and responsible enterprises.Oversee the development and implementation

of customers technology strategies to enhance their customer experiences, optimize operations, and drive business growth through digital channels.Develop, Build and maintain

senior Client relationships by providing advisory, thought leadership and market expertise. Be a trusted advisor to clients.Foster and champion partnerships

with relevant Technology firms to integrate them into our Retail and Consumer partner ecosystem.Carry out advisory services

with key customers as a delivery practitioner alongside GlobalLogic onshore and offshored delivery teams.Research, identify and develop Go to Market vertical Retail and Consumer opportunities

in conjunction with the Sales team.Provide Retail and Consumer sector thought leadership and technical expertise

to the Sales and Delivery teams and clients, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices.Develop and execute

a Retail and Consumer Technology & Domain go-to-market (GTM) strategy, leveraging AI and advanced analytics to drive value creation.Contribute to business development

efforts, including market events, pre-sales activities, proposal development, and client presentations.Coaching clients

in the Retail and Consumer sector to build the “software muscles” they need to absorb current opportunities (like GenAI) as well as innovations in the future.Collaboration with Software Engineering Teams:

Partner closely with AI, Machine Learning and Data Engineering delivery teams in GlobalLogic to ensure we deliver innovative Retail and Consumer solutions using the best practices and tools.Qualifications:Extensive experience working within the Retail and Consumer sector.In-depth knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and emerging technologies such as: Digital transformation (cloud migration, AI/ML adoption, data analytics); Omni-channel, Supply chain, Merchandising etc.Experience and knowledge of software products, technologies and architectures in the Retail and Consumer sector from early-stage through to scaling and maturity.Experience working with various business models and operating structures within the sector.Strong consulting and advisory skills with the ability to present a technology vision confidently in a way that informs and enables clients to make effective choices and decisions.Strong technical architecture understanding, with the ability to visualize ‘why’ what a client wants to build will or won't work at scale or as their product/customer base expands.Deep understanding of the sales cycles and rationale for customer rationales and motives for buying services.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to an audience from C-Level to End User, clearly articulating the value of GlobalLogic GTMs will bring to an organisation, gain trusted advisor respect and help influence.Proven track record of success:Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale technology initiatives within the Retail and Consumer sector.Experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for new products or services.Examples of successful client engagements and partnerships.Strong network in this sector: Extensive network of industry contacts, including senior executives within client organizations and technology partners.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making.Executive presence and the ability to represent the company at senior levels within client organizations and industry events.Technical and business acumen:Strong understanding of technology trends and their potential impact on the Retail and Consumer sector.Ability to translate business challenges into technology solutions and vice versa.Experience with various technology platforms, architectures, and delivery models relevant to the sector.Understanding of metrics and business drivers within the industry.What We OfferOur goal is to build an inclusive positive culture where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves, empowering our people to create their own high standards and therefore more value.
