Pricing Governance Manager

Ready to take the lead on pricing fairness and governance in a fast-moving, customer-focused organisation?

We're looking for a Pricing Governance Manager to help shape and strengthen our Pricing Governance Framework — delivering fair outcomes for our customers while keeping us commercially sharp and compliant.

About the role

As our Pricing Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing governance processes within the Pricing Team. Reporting to the Head of Pricing Governance, you will ensure that risk is effectively managed, quality standards are met, and that regulatory obligations are thoroughly integrated into our pricing practices.

You’ll work at the intersection of pricing, risk, compliance, and strategy — acting as a key enabler for informed, ethical, and commercially aligned pricing decisions.

Duties

Champion pricing governance controls and processes across the department.

Ensure robust quality assurance and regulatory compliance (e.g. FCA, Consumer Duty).

Support and develop governance reporting — timely, accurate, and insight-driven.

Liaise with internal stakeholders from analytics to finance to compliance.

Evaluate methodologies and frameworks, driving improvements and innovation.

Manage multi-area processes and participate in cross-functional projects.

Provide governance input into pricing decisions and deputise for the Head when required.

Essential Skills

Must Have

Strong experience in insurance or financial services

Proven background in governance or regulation or pricing compliance.

Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting pricing (FCA, pricing fairness).

Experience developing or implementing governance controls to protect customers.

Confident communicator — able to present technical and non-technical insights to senior stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead through influence.

Passion for delivering continuous improvement and customer-centric outcomes.

Nice to have

Experience managing or mentoring others.

Strong grasp of commercial pricing strategies and data governance.

Awareness of emerging trends in insurance pricing and regulation
