Job Title: People Partner
Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 p.a.
Hours: 37.5 hours, hybrid role
Location: Colchester
Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is seeking a People Partner to collaborate with senior leaders in designing and implementing innovative people solutions that advance organisational goals. You’ll serve as a trusted HR Business Partner on complex workforce matters, leverage evidence‑based insights to drive positive change, and coach managers on best‑practice people management.
Main areas of responsibility:

  • Investigate, manage and advise on complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and timely outcomes
  • Analyse workforce data and trends to inform decision‑making and challenge the status quo
  • Lead change management and TUPE programmes, maintaining legal compliance and clear communication
  • Coach and develop managers to apply HR policy, improve performance and foster healthy working relationships
  • Support the design and embedding of people practices, including workforce KPIs and action plans to improve them
  • Act on behalf of the Lead People Partner as required, representing the People Directorate at stakeholder meetings
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (including trade unions) to build inclusive, high‑performing teams
  • Contribute to policy reviews, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, compliant with legislation and aligned to organisational values
  • Support colleague engagement and wellbeing initiatives, including championing colleague networks and monitoring occupational health KPIs
  • Partner with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure seamless data integrity and timely updates across ESR, Access, EASY and related systems
    Required Skills & Desired Experience:
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience) with extensive HR generalist expertise
  • Proven track record of handling complex employee relations, change initiatives and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data to create insight‑driven people interventions
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Experience of working within the NHS/Health & Social Care sector.
  • Proactive, adaptable and resilient—able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
