Role: Partner Development Manager

Location: London/Reading - hybrid working

18-month PAYE contract

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Partner Development Manager who is driven by a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will contribute to the growth and evolution of the partner ecosystem by applying a challenger mindset, effective sales management techniques, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

This position supports a diverse range of partners across various customer segments and solution areas. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders within partner organizations, guiding them to fully leverage the benefits of their partnership with the business.

TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE:

Partner Performance and Impact You will be responsible for enhancing insights into partner performance by leveraging internal reporting tools. You will create benchmarks, identify actionable insights, and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also utilize AI technologies, like Copilot and Agents, to streamline processes, allowing the team to focus on strategic partner initiatives.

Partner Development and Growth You will collaborate closely with Partner Development Managers and their virtual teams to develop tailored business plans aligned with business goals and objectives. By providing key insights, you will help partners identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks, supporting their go-to-market strategies and co-selling execution. You will also facilitate collaboration between partner and the business sales teams to navigate challenges, stay competitive, and achieve consumption and revenue targets.

Partner Recruitment Using data analytics and feedback from the sales team, you will identify potential new partners, with a particular focus on expanding AI capabilities and capacity in the market. You will guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to integrate effectively into the ecosystem.

Partner Advocacy and Team Mobilization You will act as an advocate for partners, helping resolve complex and time-sensitive escalations. By engaging with internal teams and partner organizations, you will drive performance and execution. Additionally, you will support the Channel Leadership Team in preparing for business reviews, team meetings, and various strategic projects.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience of interacting with customers/partners ideally within a technology company (3+years)
Strong ability to read and interpret data (excel/powerbi skills)
Clear communicator - written & spoken
Experience of interacting with customers/partner

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Experience with Copilot and Agents a bonus
Experience of Microsoft tools and systems
Technology background
