Data Cutover and Implementation SME

Location:
London, 2-3 days onsite per week

Remuneration:
Daily rate From: £800

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Working Pattern: Full Time

Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Data Cutover and Implementation SME! You will be at the heart of our major data transfer initiatives, taking the lead on business and technical aspects of cutover and implementation planning. Your expertise will ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions. Key responsibilities include:

Cutover Planning: Develop and manage detailed cutover plans and runbooks.
Execution Management: Lead cutover execution and monitor progress with precision.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with teams to ensure readiness and alignment.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks proactively.
System Validation: Validate system performance and data integrity post-transfer.
Documentation: Author technical documentation and standard procedures.
Post-Go-Live Support: Provide support and resolve issues as they arise.

Required Skills & Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should bring a wealth of experience and knowledge, including:

Proven experience in cutover and implementation within data migration projects.
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Technical proficiency with a focus on risk management.
A solid understanding of data governance, quality, and security.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in customer data migration cutovers.
Familiarity with KYC processes.
Experience setting up data transfer functions from scratch.
Broad understanding of financial services data.
Expertise in documentation, requirements gathering, and RAID log management.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

This role supports a vital data transfer initiative involving the transition of critical assets, liabilities, and staff data. You'll collaborate closely with both business and IT teams to finalise requirements, oversee data conversion, conduct testing, and ensure a successful go-live.
