Mechanical Engineer - Communal Heating Projects

Flexible working (Office/Site visits)

Inside IR35 contract (option to extend or go permanent)

We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mechanical projects across retrofit and new build environments - with a particular focus on communal heating systems, heat networks, and low-carbon installations.

You'll manage end-to-end projects, liaise with stakeholders and contractors, and ensure full compliance with statutory and sustainability standards. This role requires excellent technical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and strong contract administration experience.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical design and project delivery (especially heating networks & low-carbon systems)
Skilled in managing budgets, compliance, and on-site delivery
Experience with technical reporting, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement
Chartered Engineer or degree-qualified in Building Services Engineering (or similar)
