Teacher of Mathematics (KS3-5) - Outstanding Havering School - Sept 2025

Outstanding mixed secondary school in Havering seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Teacher of Mathematics for a permanent position starting September 2025. Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory, with proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

  • A relevant Degree in Mathematics or a highly quantitative subject from a reputable university.

  • Demonstrable experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.

  • Outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a positive, disciplined, and highly productive learning environment.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, adhering to all school policies and statutory requirements.
