Location:Reading | Hybrid (2 days in-office)

Salary:£45,000–£55,000 per annum (DOE)

Type:Full-time


We are seeking a skilledMaster Data Analystto join our Data team and support the delivery of critical data initiatives. Reporting to the Master Data Manager, this role will be responsible for driving data governance practices and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key business data. Using the Profisee MDM platform, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining a single, trusted source of truth across the organisation.


Responsibilities:

  • Owning and maintaininggolden master recordsacross critical data assets—your records are the source of truth.
  • Building and evolving adata modelthat aligns with the business's core processes and drives consistency.
  • Developingmatching logicandsurvivorship rulesto ensure data stays pristine.
  • Designing and managingdata entity relationships, including workflow and event processing.
  • Defining and executingbusiness rules, managing data governance workflows, and owning MDM data mapping and ingestion.
  • Runningdata quality surveys, crafting quality rules, and implementing standards to ensure the master data is always on point.
  • Creating and maintainingexception reportsandKPIs, and working with business teams to troubleshoot and improve data quality.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years solid, hands-on experience withMDM platforms(especially Profisee), strong SQL/data governance skills, and who’ve worked cross-functionally in data-driven environments
  • Relevant degree or certification in a data-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent. Certifications in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Profisee MDM are advantageous.
  • Adigital-first mindset: You embrace change, collaboration, and innovation like second nature.
  • You’redata-obsessed- details matter and accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Not interested in fitting into the mold? Perfect. We want fresh thinkers, not factory settings.
  • Hands-onexperience with master data management, ideally Profisee MDM.
  • Solid background indata quality surveysand standards.
  • Skilled with tools likeSQL,ETL platforms,data modeling, anddata visualisationtools.
  • Strong technical problem-solving chops with an eye for patterns and anomalies.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with stakeholders—data stewards, IT, business units, vendors—you name it.
