The Marketing Transformation Team

Marketing Transformation is a team made up of experts across strategy & consulting, marketing technology, and content strategy. It is a strategic team that works with clients to define solutions required to deliver content experiences at scale. The team works closely with SMEs and operations, and leads the client transformation work stream.

What does a Martech Solutions Architect do at Hogarth?

As a Martech Solutions Architect at Hogarth, you will be pivotal within the Marketing Transformation Team. Your primary responsibility will be to design end-to-end marketing technology solutions that seamlessly integrate WPP, Hogarth and Client technologies to align and deliver the strategic vision of our clients and the agency.

This requires blending an understanding of the client's unique needs and challenges with a deep understanding of Hogarth’s solutions, alongside the broader martech landscape, to craft technological solutions that enhance content experiences, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

In addition to working with our clients, this role will support in the ongoing solution design and development of our proprietary AI driven production applications. Working closely with product managers and development teams you will be responsible for the overall design of an application, bridge business and technical requirements and ensure that the solution fits with the broad architectural framework.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Consult, design and present integrated martech solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Provide an expert point of view on martech solutions at a macro and micro level utilising a broad and up-to-date understanding of the landscape.
  • Support with delivering RFPS, RFIs and participating in presentations as an SME.
  • Ensure the martech team is staying abreast of the latest developments within the martech and AI landscape.
  • Foster, develop and manage strategic partnerships with our tech partners – designing solutions to activate use cases with their latest innovations.
  • Translate business requirements to a range of tech and development teams and ensure that proposed technical solutions meet business requirements and broader architecture vision.
  • Support in standardising our martech consulting offering.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experienced consultant with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape including latest innovations in AI and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with leading marketing platforms (such as Adobe & Sitecore Suite) tools, and technologies, ideally including those involved in content creation, management and orchestration (DAM, DXP, Workflow, CDP etc).
  • Proficient in a broad range of technologies including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP etc), microservices and APIs.
  • Comfortable working in a green field environment.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex martech solutions.
  • Expertise in understanding how various marketing platforms and tools integrate to create cohesive systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • An understanding of data architecture, integrations and security best practices.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including strategy, content, engineers, programme management and consulting.
  • Demonstrated history of successful client engagements, showcasing the ability to understand and address unique client needs.
