Marketing Specialist

Location: Desford, UK (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary: £21.28 per hour (PAYE) | £28.19 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Type: Temporary - 2 Year contract with potential extension
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support various marketing campaigns across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. You will be part of a collaborative team, contributing to exciting projects such as events, communication strategies, and data analytics. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment with diverse and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including creative development and implementation.
Conduct market and competitive research to identify industry trends and new opportunities.
Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to optimise campaign effectiveness.
Maintain internal communication within the marketing team to ensure alignment with business strategies.
Assist in event coordination and promotional activities across multiple regions.
Provide support in marketing data analytics, reporting, and insights.

Required Skills & Experience

Power BI experience is essential - ability to analyse and visualise data effectively.
Strong background in marketing, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills and an analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of marketing communication techniques and promotional strategies.
Ability to work independently while contributing to team projects.
Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and event management.

Team Structure & Reporting

You will be joining a team of five marketing professionals.
The wider team includes colleagues based in Geneva (3) and Spain (1).
You will be working on-site in Desford but will be fully integrated into the team.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Strong experience with Power BI.
