Founded in 2022 and now starting its third year in business, our agency is growing as demand for our services has increased. We are looking for a highly capable performance marketing/digital advertising specialist to support our team throughout this growth and beyond. This role is best suited for someone looking to develop their career in data & analytics.

Job Overview

This is a senior role with both technical and client-facing responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can combine experience in digital advertising with knowledge of technical solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with helping clients maximise the value of their advertising campaigns; primarily through both hands-on support in account management and implementation of various data & analytics solutions.

Experience with Google Ads is a necessity, but the role includes other advertising platforms such as Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and GA4 is also required, as foundational software in our ‘data’ toolkit. There will be opportunity to learn more advanced data skills such as coding (e.g. SQL) and cloud solutions (e.g. BigQuery). Picking up conversational knowledge of technical solutions will be a necessity - e.g. conversion tracking, attribution, modelling and more.

This will be both challenging and rewarding as the work is cutting-edge. Opportunities to learn new technologies and techniques are available and encouraged. We’ll happily support and finance training. This role is therefore best suited to ambitious candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client / Account Management
    • Build effective relationships with clients, communicating regularly via email/phone plus leading on presentations and reports
    • Take a proactive approach, ensuring clients always know the next step in their growth, plus in growing the agency commercially
    • Assist with proposals, pitches, etc.
  • Ad Campaign Management
    • Manage ad campaigns to maximise value for clients
    • Manage budgets via our proprietary tool
    • Optimisation & Bid Management
  • Reporting
    • Creating, writing & presenting reports and presentations,
    • Utilising different analytics platforms & tools, e.g. Supermetrics, Google Sheets, BigQuery, HubSpot, etc.
  • Assist building report automations, data pipelines, integrations, etc.
  • Technical Marketing
    • Assist with technical implementations, including tagging & tracking (GTM, Consent Mode, Enhanced Measurement) but also other solutions (GA4, BigQuery, Advanced Analytics, etc.).
  • Strategy & Research
    • Create paid media plans and help develop strategy
    • Complete research; including audience, creative & competitive research
    • Contribute to data & analytics strategy
  • Internal R&D, including assistance with development of new processes, solutions and tools
  • Collaboration with internal colleagues and external partners, including freelancer management
  • Support with Tiedot marketing campaigns
Essential Criteria
  • 2+ years experience working in Google Ads management.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Confidence working with spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects in busy agency environment
  • Based within commute distance of central Belfast
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of other digital advertising platforms, e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality assurance for, and testing of, tag implementations
  • Experience across industries such as Insurance, B2B, SaaS and Ecommerce.
  • Other Tag management systems, e.g. Tealium
  • SQL and using BigQuery plus Google Cloud, or other data warehouse tools
  • Advanced analytics approaches, such as attribution solutions or MMM
  • Google Apps Script
  • Other dashboarding tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Knowledge of web development, including the use of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
