Manager, Business Intelligence, Amazon Prime

Our vision for Prime is to build India’s largest subscription program that is loved by its members, delivers disproportionate value and drives growth of India business. In order to achieve this mission, we are on a multi-year journey to re-imagine Prime program and build a program to meets needs of large diverse customer base in India. Our team is responsible for all aspects of the prime program including customer lifecycle management, plan constructs, trial strategies, pricing, program branding, Prime benefits, member spends and Prime PnL. To this end, we are a multidisciplinary team including product managements, marketing, business development, engineering and analytics. We are a team of builders who love to work backwards from customer, build empathy for their needs and invent products and services that will enrich their lives.

Prime team is looking for a Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics group to lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers responsible for building analytics solutions and generate Prime related insights for India and other emerging marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building scalable self service analytics infrastructure, has experience building teams and growing individuals and is curious and seeks out data to understand the business use cases and impact on Prime. This candidate will be part of core Prime leadership team reporting to Prime leader for India and will be responsible for co-creating Prime strategy for IN and corresponding investments in analytics infrastructure to support this growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
