Title:  Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support a fast-growing technology business. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain experience working for a PE-backed company. This is a hybrid role (3 - 4 days in the office), and the salary on offer is up to £65k PA (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

Prepare management accounts for group entities including monthly consolidation within a 5 day close process
Prepare variance analysis providing insights into the groups financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
Support the AP and AR teams by:
Overseeing the reconciliation of bank and HIF accounts prepared by AR and AP teams
Oversee the reconciliation of the Ledgers.
Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent
5 years of experience in Management Accounts, in a reporting and financial control environment
You must be able to drive to the office and live within a commutable distance to St Albans.
Ideally with previous use of Sage X3 or similar software
Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
Advanced Excel user with the ability to manage/format large files, produce ad hoc reports and perform data analysis
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Location: St Albans (hybrid)
