Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm; Friday, 8am - 1pm (flexibility available)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Contract Type: Fixed-term (6 months) to cover maternity leave

Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This role is suited for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in both Financial and Management Accounts. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across a varied workload.

Key Responsibilities of a Management Accountant

• Prepare and maintain both Financial and Management Accounts
  
  
• Ensure VAT compliance and manage VAT reporting
  
  
• Reconcile balance sheets and maintain account accuracy
  
  
• Oversee ERP system management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  
  
• Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making
  
  Key Skills of a Management Accountant
  
  
• Proven experience in financial and management accounting
  
  
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software
  
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
