Join us as aLead Enterprise Architect, Models &Standards
- You’ll bejoining the team that is shaping the future of our enterprise datamodel and data standards to help us unlock our data’s fullpotential
- Be a thought leader of data modellingand standards, influencing business and technology strategiesacross the franchises and functions
- You'll bedefining the intentional architecture for our data in an enterprisedata model and data standards to ensure that the currentarchitecture being delivered by engineers best supports theenterprise and its long termstrategy
- Structuring, standardising, andgoverning the design of our data is critical to drivingsimplification, improving efficiency, and mitigatingrisk
What you'lldo
As a Lead EnterpriseArchitect for data models and standards, you’ll be defining andcommunicating the data modelling strategy and the current, resultant, and target state enterprise data model for the bank. You’ll be making sure that the data modelling strategy and theenterprise data model link to, and are informed by, our overallstrategy and architecture, and produces the architectureoutcomes.
We’ll look to youstrongly influence the development of business strategies at anorganisational level within your function and across the bank, identifying transformational opportunities for our businesses andtechnology areas associated with both new and existingtechnologies. You’ll also drive the adoption, enforcement, andgovernance of enterprise data models and data standards and you’llmanage and mentor a team of specialists, senior enterprise dataarchitects, and data modellers, fostering a collaborative, highperformanceculture.
Recognised as themain data architecture point of contact for the franchise andfunctions assigned to your engagement scope, you’ll identify gapsin data architecture culture and skills across your areas ofmanagement and provide mentorship wherenecessary.
Aswell as this, you’llbe:
- Translatingdata modelling strategy and roadmaps into packages of work thatallow frequent incremental delivery of value to be included in theproduct backlog
- Defining, creating, andmaintaining architecture models, roadmaps, standards and outcomes, using architecture strategies to ensure alignment to adjacent andhigher level model
- Working closely withbusiness owners, portfolio managers, product managers, and releasemanagers to define the target intentionalarchitecture
- Leading complex and technicallychallenging architectural transformations, coordinating design andplatform teams across domains
- Seeking out andutilising continuous feedback, fostering adaptive design andengineering practices to drive the collaboration of programmes andteams around a common technical vision
- Stayingabreast of the commercial and emerging data technology offeringsthat may influence current and target architectures, as well as thecurrent state of our data design and data model of thebank
- Supporting the resolution of businesspriority challenges and change management, ensuring the target dataarchitecture supports ourgoals
