This is a Hybrid role, the Data Science team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week.

What You’ll Be DoingAre you looking to get involved in exciting data science projects and collaborate with colleagues across the business to assist in the management of a £1bn credit portfolio?

  1. Develop predictive models and work on analytical assignments, influencing our strategy across the entire customer lifecycle from marketing through to collections.
  2. Take a direct lead on the analytical projects and guide junior team members.
  3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure models and analytical solutions can be implemented seamlessly without deterioration to customer experience or complex IT builds.
  4. Help coach and develop colleagues in various departments on data science tools and techniques.

We’re Looking ForRequired skills:

  1. 4+ years experience building statistical models in Python and extracting/manipulating data in SQL.
  2. Experience working on analytical projects.
  3. Commercial acumen and a robust understanding of the economics underpinning credit portfolios.
  4. Able to work autonomously and display strong judgement and proactivity.
  5. Credit modelling experience would be beneficial but this is not a requirement.
  6. Experience in consulting, start-ups or other fast-paced environments is beneficial.
