The Data Architecture team is dedicated to empowering product teams with essential insights, best practices, and rigorous standards to create products that resonate with customers. By highlighting Paved Paths and fostering collaborative environments, they guide technical data-centric decision-making and connect foundational artefacts for the data ecosystem. Data Architects play a vital role in shaping the long-term data landscape, promoting innovation, and enabling the organization to unlock the full potential of their data. 

What You Will Do: 

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals and objectives. You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the overall data architecture, continuously increasing data maturity, and challenging the status quo as servant leader.

Own and mature the data tech stack and continuously challenge the status quo. Design and implement data models and solutions that meet business requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture standards and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data architecture guidance. Ensure data security, integrity, and quality standards are maintained. Participate in data governance and compliance initiatives. Optimize data processes and performance to enhance data accessibility and usability.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect, tenured engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages. Proficiency in data platform tools such as Confluence, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Databricks. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
