The Role

As the Lead Data Analyst and Power Platform Architect, you will drive the strategic direction of data analytics and Power Platform solutions across the organisation and for external customers. You will architect, design, and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio) to meet business and customer needs. You will mentor team members, foster innovation, and ensure best practices in data management and application development. This role will be equally divided between internal responsibilities and customer-facing activities. You will engage with clients to ascertain their requirements, facilitate workshops, and effectively demonstrate the value provided by Power Platform solutions.


The Candidate

  • Proven experience architecting and delivering solutions with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)
  • Experience working with large datasets and data engineering tools (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory)
  • Data analysis and process automation
  • Team Leadership
  • Strong Customer‑Facing skills, including requirements gathering, solution presentation and training
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages (T‑SQL, DAX, Power FX, Python, R, M Language)

Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Insights

  • Collaborate with the various teams at TIEVA to identify data requirements, extract, clean, and analyse data from various sources to derive meaningful insights
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
  • Translate data-driven findings into actionable recommendations for strategic decision‑making
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting solutions
  • Promote self‑service analytics and empower users to explore data independently

Power Platform Architecture & Delivery

  • Architect and implement end-to-end solutions using Power Platform, integrating with Azure and other Microsoft technologies
  • Lead the design and development of Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards, and Power Pages for both internal and external customers
  • Advise on governance, security, and compliance for Power Platform deployments
  • Develop reusable components, templates, and best practices for Power Platform projects
  • Stay current with new Power Platform features and proactively introduce innovations

Customer‑Facing Workloads

  • Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, present solutions, and deliver workshops or webinars
  • Act as the technical lead in customer projects, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and deliver measurable value
  • Provide post‑implementation support and training to customers, enabling self‑service and adoption
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their digital transformation journey

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work cross‑functionally with business stakeholders, IT, and external partners
  • Document solutions, processes, and code to maintain intellectual property and support knowledge transfer
  • Ensure all development work undergoes peer review and is stored securely

Data Security And Governance

  • Work with the Group Systems and Compliance leads to establish and enforce data security protocols to safeguard sensitive information
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations
  • Implement data governance practices to maintain data integrity and consistency

Team Management

  • Define, review and monitor department and individual OKRs/KPIs to support the overall business objectives
  • Coach, mentor, inspire and motivate team members
  • Complete monthly 121’s and annual performance reviews on time in line with Company standards to drive performance and support team members
  • Maintain optimum levels of staffing through strong team retention
  • Recruiting and selecting new hires, identifying which knowledge, skills and experience are required and ensuring to follow company recruitment procedures
  • Plan and implement detailed inductions for team members including competency checklists
  • Provide development and training to team members to enable them to enhance their skills, including producing and regularly reviewing personal development plans
  • Recognise and celebrate the success of team members

Qualifications/Accreditations

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis
  • Previous experience in leading cross‑functional teams
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP‑600) or equivalent
  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (PL‑600) or equivalent
  • Willingness to pursue further certifications as required
