Lead Data Analyst

My client is a purpose-driven organisation in the [sector] space, and they’re looking for theirfirst data hire— aLead Data Analystto set the vision, build the data foundations, and still remain hands-on.

This is agreenfield rolewhere you’ll have full scope to integrate disparate datasets, ensure data quality, and deliver insights that directly influence marketing, sales, and customer strategy. You’ll also get togrow a small teamonce the function is established.

The Role

• Integrate & organise data sourcesfrom marketing, sales, CRM, and digital channels into a unified, trusted dataset.
• Establishdata quality processesto maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Build a single customer view, delivering segmentation and profiling to power targeted marketing campaigns.
• Partner closely with marketing and sales to uncover actionable insights and track campaign performance.
• Design and automate dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the business.
• Shape thedata strategy, tools, and best practices from the ground up.

The Person

• Proven experience indata integration, modelling, and data quality management.
• AdvancedSQLplus experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Strong background inmarketing analytics and customer insight.
• Comfortable in a hands-on role, with the vision to scale capability and hire.
• Able to translate complex analysis into clear commercial impact.
