Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills to join our data team in production technology. We’re seeking a Technical Lead Data Analyst with strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills to guide our data analysts within the production technology team. In this role, you’ll not only deliver hands-on analysis using BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Python, and modern BI tools, but also define the analytics strategy, mentor analysts, and work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure our data products and insights drive tangible business outcomes.

You will own the design and delivery of analytics workflows, reporting solutions, and data-driven recommendations for internal teams, operational stakeholders, and external clients. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with development teams to build dynamic, scalable dashboards and analytics solutions that integrate seamlessly into our platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on blending technical expertise with strategic leadership, shaping how data is used across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, setting best practices for analytics, reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Define and own the analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with product, operations, and business objectives
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable reporting and analytics solutions, including dashboards, curated datasets, and KPI frameworks
  • Write advanced SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze large datasets, automate processes, and surface actionable insights
  • Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams on data discovery, pipeline requirements, and feature development
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating data into clear narratives, recommendations, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across all analytics outputs
  • Stay current on emerging analytics tools and cloud technologies, and introduce new approaches to improve efficiency and capability
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles, ideally in a technical leadership capacity
  • Deep proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, optimization) and experience working with large-scale datasets in BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
  • Strong Python skills for analytics, automation, and data manipulation (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and performance tuning in cloud-based environments
  • Proven ability to lead teams, define strategy, and influence cross-functional stakeholders across technical and non-technical groups
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect data insights with organizational goals
Desirable Skills
  • Background in e-commerce, marketing, or operations analytics
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Git-based workflows
  • Experience contributing to data product development, working closely with engineers and product managers
