Are you ready to lead the data strategy for one of the fastest-growing names in sports betting? We’re recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge sports betting company based in London, looking to hire a Lead Data Analyst to drive insights and help shape their data future.

About the Role:

As the Lead Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into strategic insights. Working directly with stakeholders across the business, including product, trading, and marketing you’ll champion data-driven decision-making and lead efforts to unlock the full value of internal and external data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of data models, reports, and dashboards using SQL and Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define business data needs
  • Provide actionable insights to influence business and product strategies
  • Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices across analytics functions
  • Contribute to the future architecture, including Snowflake and the eventual creation of a bespoke data lake
  • Assist in shaping data governance, quality, and documentation standards

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Analyst, ideally in a high-growth or tech-driven environment
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
  • Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, visualisation best practices, user experience design)
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex data into clear narratives for stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset with experience contributing to longer-term data platform evolution
  • Previous exposure to Snowflake is a plus (or willingness to learn)
  • Understanding of data lake architecture and modern data stack concepts is advantageous
