Client Details

A great opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join a leading fashion retail business in their Leeds Office. As a company they have been trading for over 40 years and are now a multi-channel retailer selling via stores, ecommerce, wholesale etc. Due to strong trading figures, there are seeking to add a couple of key hires to their Merchandising team.

Description

Data-driven decision making: Use statistical models, forecasts, and historical sales data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of all designated product areas.
Budgeting & Planning: Assist in planning budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy, aligning with the business and financial goals of the company.
Stock & Forecasting: Control stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes, ensuring seasonality of products is maintained and sales forecasts are reviewed and adjusted based on performance data.
Performance Analysis: Analyse and monitor best and worst sellers, making informed recommendations for corrective actions based on quantitative insights.
Weekly Trading: Review weekly trading performance and KPIs, identifying issues and preparing action plans for the senior merchandiser.
