Are you looking to launch your career in data science or business intelligence with a market-leading brand? We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our Data Management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving data enrichment and process improvement within our Product Information Management (PIM) system. As an essential part of our digital evolution, you will utilize AI integration and automation tools like Google Apps Script to streamline complex product workflows. You will leverage BigQuery, SQL fundamentals, and advanced Google Sheets modelling to manage data quality and enhance reporting efficiency. If you are passionate about data manipulation, data visualisation in tools like Looker Studio, and providing actionable category insights, this is the perfect opportunity to champion best in class data standards in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Champion best in class product information by supporting category colleagues and collaborating with digital teams.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI and Google Apps Script to improve internal efficiency.
  • Manage reporting workflows through the expert application of BigQuery, SQL, and complex data modelling.
  • Provide administrative support for data management requests and assist the Data Quality & Insights Manager with departmental tasks.
  • Enhance product data accuracy through continuous data manipulation and category insight analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Highly competent in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office. Experience with SQL fundamentals, BigQuery, and Google Analytics is essential.
  • Proven ability to perform autonomous data analysis with a keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Looker Studio to transform complex data sets into easy-to-understand visual insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to construct clear arguments and speak confidently with diverse stakeholders.
  • A pragmatic and delivery-focused approach to identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
  • Educated to A-Level or NVQ L4 standard (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in SQL and intermediate data cleaning techniques.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
