Job Title: Junior Data Analyst (12 Months FTC)

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 (dependent upon experience), and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Cannock (WS11 8JP) / hybrid (once fully trained)

What will you be doing?

Collect, cleanse, and validate operational and environmental data from waste management contracts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Working with operational and digital teams to customer hub reports for key stakeholders, supporting decision-making and continuous improvement.

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and dashboards tailored to contract and stakeholder requirements to support Veolia TWM digital transformation.

Assist with small-scale data projects to improve data quality, reporting processes, and operational efficiency supporting the Centre of excellence and wider TWM/IFM.

Perform basic root cause analysis on data quality issues, with guidance from senior team members, and contribute to solutions.

Demonstrate professionalism and build credibility with colleagues and clients, acting as a trusted data resource for operational teams.

The main responsibility for the role holder is to support the delivery of customer hub reports working in collaboration with the contract operational team and DB&T team. The role holder is required to maintain the accuracy of operational and environmental reports to help meet contract requirements and client needs.

Understand the context of TWM's relationship with its customers to prioritise work effectively and deliver value.

Support the delivery of sustainability and environmental initiatives on TWM contract sites through accurate data reporting.

Where required supporting the Centre of Excellence team with analytics to provide key insights, helping drive performance and environmental outcomes.

Apply relevant criteria and indicators to produce accurate environment and sustainability reports in the waste sector, supporting our sustainability goals.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree or higher (data analytics, business analytics, environmental science, business administration)

Experience in collecting large datasets and reporting/ visualisations.

Experience in using Excel or Google Sheets for data tasks.

Any experience in environmental or waste sector reporting is desirable.

Experience in presenting data or reports to stakeholders is desirable.
