Artificial Intelligence is our reality. Principal Architect (Data focused on Databricks), UKGeneral DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Architect with strong Data experience to be part of our team working for EMEA clients. In this position, you will lead technically and design software solutions, working closely with teams in the UK, EU and other countries in Latin America. We are looking for someone who has:At least 3 years experience with Databricks data platform (setting up workspaces, delta lake, ingestion and transformation workflows, data catalogs, …)Solid experience in architecture design and technical leadershipSolid experience designing, developing and deploying pipelines, data-lakes, data meshes and other data productsSolid experience on understanding, questioning, prioritizing and translating business problems into data solutions (BI, Analytics, deterministic and statistical models, machine learning)Solid experience with Cloud (Azure or AWS)Experience on identifying, gathering and prioritizing Non Functional Requirements, Technical pain points and environment/client constraintsExperience on scaling data workloads using platforms such as Hadoop and SparkExperience with CI/CD and MLOps pipelinesExperience with Infrastructure as a CodeExperience on collaborating with pre-sales, presenting data solutions and demonstrating technical capabilities for non technical audiencesAbility to create proof of concepts and coding complex mechanisms (preferable using Python);Willingness to work with different technologies and learn every day;Ability to share your knowledge with more junior team members.The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead technically the team and enable a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and data engineers to build, enhance, and maintain data products.Visit our European clients a few weeks throughout the year in order to bootstrap projects, establish and expand relationships with key technical and non technical stakeholdersWork on a variety of projects, for different clients, in different subject matter domains.Participate in design and architecture discussions.Collaborate with strategy, customer experience, product and non-technical program management teams.Ensure that solutions are following security and performance best practices.Create & maintain design and other documentation required by the clients.Communicate with customer’s team members and align technical solutions.Understand requirements and make viable technical solutions choosing appropriate frameworks. Guarantee a stable and productive development environment.We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR, etc.)Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing#LI-BM2Collaboration is our superpower, diversity unites us, and excellence is our standard. We value diverse identities and life experiences, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and safe work environment.
