The Role: 

In this role you will make a difference by providing IT support to internal customers, ensuring systems are maintained and supported to the highest standards.

You will ensure that all support calls and requests are dealt with appropriately and in accordance with defined policies and procedures.

You'll be the first point of contact for all customers with IT Services queries, including answering calls, logging incidents onto the service desk system, performing password resets, application configuration resets, and managing user permissions on IT systems.

In addition to business-as-usual support, you will also play a key role in the deployment of Windows 11 across the organisation, assisting with configuration, testing, and rollout activities.

You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of data quality and system performance throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

·      To provide assistance, advice, and fault resolution to users of IT equipment, systems and network.

·      To ensure that all support calls and requests are dealt with promptly and effectively in accordance with defined policies and procedures.

·      To install operating systems and software applications

·      To Assist in system upgrades and rollouts across the organisation as directed

·      To configure, audit, and install new PCs, printers and other equipment.

·      To assist in replacement and upgrading of existing IT equipment, including data transfer and replacement of hard disks, memory etc.

·      To dispose of redundant IT equipment in accordance with organisational procedures.

·      To assist with general systems, support and housekeeping tasks

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

·      Knowledge of a range of Information Management and Technology areas acquired through qualification to Degree or equivalent level, or relevant experience

·      Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Software, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy Knowledge and experience of deploying operating systems

Desirable

·      Windows 11 Deployment experience

·      Microsoft Qualifications
