This role presents a unique opportunity for a skilled communicator specialising in corporate and People communications. As a vital member of the Internal Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative for our global company. Working at the intersection of Internal Communications and People/HR, you will collaborate with partners across a multi-faceted business.

Strong candidates for this position will excel as excellent writers and adept relationship builders and stakeholder managers. You will have the chance to establish relationships with executives and individuals across the company while driving communications across our key messages, with a focus on People Communications. From people announcements and internal awards/recognition to newsroom-style reporting against our global messages and narrative, you will craft messaging and content that informs, inspires and celebrates our colleagues.

As our company continues to grow, you will contribute to shaping the narrative both internally and externally. Your role will involve elevating our people, guiding their journeys, and providing clarity on complex issues. By actively participating in creating an environment where everyone can thrive, you will enable the impactful contributions we make, collectively.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates Will:

  1. Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in internal or corporate communications, with a focus on change management and People communications.
  2. Have experience of owning tracks of work, putting together comms plans and schedules, and then executing those plans with support from other team members.
  3. Possess excellent writing and editing skills, with a background in editorial, persuasive, or strategic writing.
  4. Thrive on story mining and reporting. You know how to discover and build a good story. From pursuing ideas and identifying sources to asking the right questions, you love getting to the root of what matters.
  5. Thrive on relationship building and executive partnerships.
  6. Lead partnerships with internal creative teams and external providers.
  7. Be curious, creative, and critical thinkers, always asking "why" and exploring new ways to effectively communicate.
  8. Operate with an entrepreneurial spirit, being proactive, excited to try new things, and unafraid of failure.
  9. Be strong relationship-builders, comfortable engaging with different partners in a large, global organization.
  10. Be data-driven, embracing analytics and motivated by impact, with a focus on achieving communication goals.
  11. Have familiarity with email marketing tools (Populo, Mailchimp, etc.) or other publishing platforms (internal or external websites, Medium, etc.).
