We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join an NHS Trust on an interim basis for 3 months, with an immediate start. This role is an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to provide high-level financial support and strategic insight within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic financial advisor to clinical and operational teams, ensuring robust financial management and decision-making.
Lead on financial planning, forecasting, and budget management, ensuring alignment with NHS financial frameworks.
Provide high-level financial analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
Develop strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, translating complex financial data into meaningful insights.
Support the development of business cases and financial models for service transformation projects.
Ensure compliance with NHS financial policies, statutory reporting requirements, and governance frameworks.
Lead on financial reporting, presenting clear and concise updates to senior management and board-level committees.
Person Specification:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with significant post-qualification experience in the NHS.
Proven track record in financial leadership, business partnering, and strategic planning within a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of NHS financial regulations, reporting frameworks, and efficiency programmes.
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, driving financial performance and service improvement.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Advanced IT skills, including Excel and NHS finance systems (e.g., Oracle, Business Intelligence tools).
