We’re currently working with an international insurance broker firm, based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit a motivated, professional, and dedicated Commercial Insurance Account Handler. In this role, you will provide essential account servicing support, ensuring the smooth and effective management of client accounts.

Insurance Account Handler Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own portfolio of cross-class commercial clients within the Charities division.

  • Accurately record and update client details in our systems to maintain data integrity.

  • Prepare documentation for new clients, as well as for mid-term adjustments and policy renewals.

  • Handle account queries and credit control issues, promptly raising any concerns.

  • Obtain renewal terms for clients, exploring alternative options to provide the best solutions.

  • Liaise with clients and insurers, confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation.

  • Prepare renewal closings based on meeting notes, ensuring cover is in place by renewal deadlines.

  • Apply legal and regulatory requirements in line with internal policies and the terms of insurance contracts.

  • Maintain precise records and adhere to agreed processes to ensure timely renewals and deliver excellent client outcomes.
