We are looking for an experienced researcher to join the E.ON Next team. Reporting into the Insight Lead, the role will identify critical business questions, support external research partners to help shape the insight plan, and then interpret and communicate findings to inform business decisions.

This role will work across a variety of topics, including brand measurement, customer experience insight, proposition development and creative testing, and across both commodity energy and future energy solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting senior stakeholders with actionable insights, with a high level of autonomy.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

Support pipeline of primary research through an external research agency, this will include quant and qual methodologies.

Leverage internal tools such as Chattermill, Tableau or brandwatch to provide insights that will strengthen GTM strategy.

Support all third-party research such as media agency pre and post-campaign measurement to ensure consistency of results through consistency of sampling/methodology

Analysing and combining data from external and internal sources

Clearly communicating and simplifying complex research results to senior stakeholders across the business

Establish and maintain strong forums of engagement with stakeholders (including fellow researchers, practitioners, etc.) to bring an insight-led mindset and improve the level of research proficiency

Exploration of social and personal environments and trends to understand motives and consumers needs for developing communication strategies and defining target audiences.

Ability to comprehend and input towards driver models, eg. forms of regression and related statistical analyses

Are we the perfect match?

3+ years of experience in research/insight roles, preferably with agency-side background.

Strong knowledge of market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) in corporate or institutional settings.

Proven ability in stakeholder management and presenting complex metrics to senior stakeholders.

Expertise in turning data into actionable insights with a proactive approach to business problem-solving.

Ability to handle multiple work streams, manage time effectively, and work autonomously.

Experience with start-up brands/sub-brands and/or energy category is a plus.

6 Month fixed term Contract.

Location - London - E.ON Next, 47-53 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 6PB - with travel to our other sites when required.

Working environment: Flexible hybrid working - a blend of in the office and home working.
