Working for a large and busy housing maintenance department within a Housing Association

This role will be based within the Asset Maintenance Team. You will report directly into the Assistant Director and provide support for the Asset Management Teams and provide an initial and ongoing contact point for customers, staff and external agencies' enquiries and referrals. To manage allocation of works for Aids and Adaptions.
You will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of duties - working on your own initiative to take action as appropriate and referring issues to the Asset Management Team where necessary.
Place minor Aids and adaptions works with the DLO monitor to completion and to the satisfaction of the resident.
Evaluate quotations from contractors and place orders for work. Progress orders to completion, arrange post-completion inspections and produce customer service reports
Manage and update Aids and Adaptions spreadsheet
Liaise with tenants as first point of contact to ascertain the nature of requirements, and allocate to the appropriate team where required.
Manage diary appointments for Aids and Adaptions staff, including Adaptions Officer and Surveyor.
Check and approve for payment contractor invoices for completed work in preparation for sign off by Major Works Manager

Other duties: Arrange meetings, book facilities/equipment, prepare agendas, attend meetings and produce and distribute minutes within agreed timescales
 Support the production of progress/highlight reports for projects/key work-streams
 Log mail and track to ensure responses
 Provide a high-quality administrative support service
 Responsible for maintaining and developing budget recording, stock control, accounting procedures and filing systems for all areas of the team
 Undertake housekeeping of electronic data systems, ensuring clean live data is retained at all times
Provide monthly statistical data and report as required
 Responsible for using the Agresso to raise purchase orders and complete orders

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within social housing maintenance team is preferable.
Demonstrable skills in supporting performance management; data analysis and problem-solving Ability to work flexibly and attend evening meetings as required
 Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
 Creative yet analytical with a logical mind and an eye for detail
 Be ICT literate
 Strong organisational skills
 Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience of working with diverse stakeholders
 Reliable, trustworthy and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
 Ability to prioritise, multitask and co-ordinate workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines
 Good time management skills
 Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative
 High level of commitment and positive "can do" attitude
 Ability to provide accurate and reliable management information to enable a robust decision-making process
 Maintain and promote the highest standards of data quality, ensuring reliable, accurate and timely information is available at all times
 Experience of successfully understanding and contributing to achieving key objectives in support of service plans in a service-orientated environment.
 Experience of working in and maintaining partnerships to deliver enhanced customer service

What you'll get in return
This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity for hybrid and flexible working.
