The Role: - As an AI & Data Engineeringpractitioner, you’ll transform customer needs into impactfultechnical solutions. Your mission is to unlock data’s potential bycreating pipelines that ingest, transform, and enrich diversedatasets into reliable, actionable insights. - You’ll owndeliverables and cultivate strong client relationships whiledelivering meaningful solutions through agile methodologies.Collaboration is key; you’ll work with multidisciplinary teams toleverage data engineering tools, producing high-quality,standardised data for AI and reporting. - Additionally, you’lldesign scalable data pipelines and storage solutions, coordinatingwith developers and engineers to address the needs of variousteams. Your expertise in data modelling and governance willestablish the standards for consistency and quality across allprojects. Essential Requirements: - British Passport Holder withactive UKIC DV (Developed Vetting Clearance) - Experience iningesting, transforming, and integrating diverse data sources intostructured assets through ETL processes and automated workflows. -Proficiency in distributed computing techniques (parallelprocessing, streaming, batch orchestration) for managing large datavolumes. - Skilled in optimizing data systems for performance,scalability, reliability, and security, with knowledge of datagovernance and metadata management. - Demonstrated experience inend-to-end development of data pipelines across various tech stacksand data types (batch, streaming, real-time). - Strong systemsthinking and architectural design skills for building scalable datasolutions, along with expertise in data modelling and databaseoptimization. - Ability to deploy and manage distributed datasystems, ensuring effective monitoring and tuning for performance.- Proficient in coding with a focus on modularity and efficiencyacross multiple programming languages. - Familiarity with thesoftware development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines. -Excellent communication skills to translate business requirementsinto effective technical data solutions while ensuring datasecurity and compliance.
