We are looking for a team leader to found and develop our sales development function. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven leader who is happy to be both strategic leader and executor to join our growth engine. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and setting the stage for successful sales opportunities and with certain opportunities closing them. This role is a key component of our sales pipeline development and provides significant growth potential within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads using various methods such as cold calls, emails, social media, and prospecting tools.
  • Outreach: Engage with prospects via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce our products/services and assess their needs.
  • Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet the criteria for potential sales opportunities, and gather critical information to pass to the Account Executive team.
  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with leads to maintain interest, address questions, and schedule product demos or meetings with sales representatives.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activity in the company CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure proper tracking of lead progress and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Client Portfolio leads, Alliance and Partner leaders, Marketing, and Growth Operations other team members to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads and to support sales strategies.
  • Market Research: Continuously gather feedback and insights on potential leads, market trends, and competitors to refine outreach strategies.
  • Performance Targets: Exceed your own monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, outreach, and appointments set and revenue sold. Set and coach a team to develop
  • Team Development:you will be responsible for building developing and motivating your team. This will be everything from objective and KPI setting through to lead coaching
  • Event Attendance Driving:Helping drive attendance to connections at any events that our Portfolio, Partner or Marketing leads have set as a focus

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales development, lead generation, or customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • A year experience in a Managerial role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and maintain consistent outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales outreach platforms.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with a passion for meeting goals and solving problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Data, Technology, Consulting or B2B sales is a must.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques such as consultative selling or SPIN selling.
  • Basic understanding of the sales process and familiarity with lead qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC).
