Position Summary
As Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for increasing the quantity and quality of customer and prospect engagement through all digital channels. You will work closely with the UK Marketing team and the Group Brand team to ensure all digital channels are kept up to date and are aligned to the Claranet UK marketing strategy. This will include administration of the Claranet UK website, social media, and other digital tools employed to drive lead generation.
This is a hybrid role based out of our London office.
Role Mission
Claranet’s strategy is to build long-term, trusted relationships with its customers by delivering market-leading, integrated managed services. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive for maternity leave cover to support our digital strategy and optimise online campaign performance by analysing data, develop campaign strategies, and report on campaign performance.
Objectives and Key Results

  • Drive an increase in traffic and click through rate to the Claranet website
  • Working with the Content Marketing Executive to improve traffic flows and impression rates by promoting effective copy writing habits that apply SEO science to content creation
  • Drive brand awareness and generate marketing leads for the sales teams
  • Optimise the usage of marketing tools to maximise Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Marketing and PR to develop a complete and lasting digital marketing strategy
  • Recommend and implement changes and improvements to the digital marketing strategy to yield maximum results
  • Execute digital campaigns built in house and in collaboration with agency partners and ensure that the appropriate measures are put in place to report progress
  • Work with the Content Marketing Executive to develop and implement a set of content creation principles that ensure consistency in the development of digitally optimised content
  • Develop and maintain digital campaign and web measurement strategies
  • Collect and analyse customer, marketing and web behaviour data, reporting outcomes to campaign owners that enable continuous campaign improvement, working with the Business Intelligence team as needed
  • Measure the efficiency and the effectiveness of all marketing activities via Salesforce and digital marketing tools (Salesforce, Salesforce Pardot, Google Analytics, Semrush and third parties)
  • Provide insights on the performance of the Claranet UK website including traffic flows and click through rates
  • Review performance against the goals set out in the digital marketing strategy to ensure it is achieving its objectives
  • Act as the main administrator for the Claranet UK website ensuring that content is aligned to the Claranet UK marketing strategy and portfolio and proposition strategy
  • Act as the main administrator for all marketing tooling and be responsible for driving best practice
  • Keep up to date with the latest marketing technology solutions and recommend improvements, building business cases and sharing best practice.
