Position Overview

The Head of Data & Analytics oversees the U.K. Data & Analytics team, guiding the strategic expansion of Making Science’s footprint in the market. This leader plays a key role in advancing clients' data and technology maturity through transformative data solutions and expert consultancy across first-party data, CRM systems, and cloud platform strategies. The position also involves leading the development and execution of growth strategies for the U.K Data & Analytics practice, enhancing the company’s service delivery capabilities and securing high-value engagements with executive-level stakeholders.

  1. Lead a team of data consultants on data transformation and maturity projects, aligning with client goals.
  2. Build and manage executive relationships, advancing data maturity, privacy compliance, and marketing effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with sales to drive growth strategies for U.S. operations, securing major accounts and expanding market presence.
  4. Oversee analytics and measurement solutions, focusing on Google Marketing Platform, including GA4, GTM, DV360, and others for improved client performance and privacy compliance.
  5. Lead architecture and optimization of Analytics stacks that align with client marketing needs and strategies.
  6. Enable clients to leverage advanced solutions such as Conversions API, Soteria, Enhanced Conversions, and Consent Mode for compliant conversion tracking.
  7. Serve as SME on platform configurations, data structuring, and measurement for GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, A/B testing tools, and other measurement tools.
  8. Define and document methodologies, oversee project standards, and deliver client guides for optimal execution.
  9. Manage deliverables like project readouts, dashboards, event tracking, and reporting to provide actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
  10. Contribute to proprietary AI/ML product management for solutions related to search, value-based bidding, and NLP tools.
  11. Support leadership and sales team goals that help boost efficiency and revenue growth in these areas by ensuring solutions we bring to market align with client goals and performance optimization efforts.

What we’d like you to bring

Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable.

  • 2-4 years of experience in Data & GMP.
  • Previous experience in supporting projects and client management.
  • Knowledge of Google suite (Google Analytics, GA4, GTM, DataStudio).
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience in data and analytics, including aspects of sales, marketing, operations.
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Awareness of market trends and customer needs.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Experience in supporting customer-centric initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to contribute to innovation and growth in a dynamic industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for easy understanding.
