Head of Data
Based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire (with hybrid working)
37 hours per week
Salary: £72,000 - £80,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Data to join our team.

In this role, you will drive the implementation of our Data Strategy, fostering a culture where data is harnessed to elevate customer service and fuel continuous improvement. You will recruit a small team to establish a robust data governance framework, improve data quality, and develop exception and system reporting. Additionally, you will oversee the creation of insightful dashboards, introduce data literacy programs, manage key data migrations, and build analytics and data engineering capabilities to support long-term success.

We’re looking for someone with…

• Experience of developing and implementing policy / procedural change within a complex environment
  
• Experience of working with senior managers to shape and influence the delivery of a corporate strategy
  
• Experience of data governance and system reporting in a highly regulated environment
  
• Experience of producing reports at a senior level
  
• Expertise and proven experience in data platform architecture, data warehousing and modern data technologies
  
• Excellent customer focus
  
• Demonstrable track record of managing and leading teams
  
• Proven track record of meeting demanding objectives and delivering business performance that exceeds expectations
  
• Up to date knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to data governance
  
• Ability to interpret data quickly, deliver accurate information and translate findings into service and performance management
  
  You will also be required to have a basic criminal record (DBS) check, which we will pay for.
