HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Group Pricing Data Governor to join our newly established and expanding Group Pricing team based at our Headquarters in Halesowen.

About the role:

As our Group Pricing Data Governor you will undertake a multi-tasking role in support of the development of the new Group Pricing department. Liaison with key internal stakeholders is essential to promote an inclusive Team based approach to develop and manage a transparent and accurate pricing discipline. Optimization of Sxe ERP is the initial goal but with an increasing focus on the development of data and processes to support the new ERP system, CSDe. You will be based within the Data Team at Halesowen but will be required to attend meetings within the Group or elsewhere on occasion.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm – 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities as our Group Pricing Data Governor will include:

To support the integration of Data, Procurement, Product Management, Finance, IT, Branch and Commercial Teams, with reference to all pricing and associated topics.

To provide financial, sales and margin analysis to enhance overall business performance.

To focus on areas of efficiency to improve productivity in all relevant departments.

To take a proactive approach to pricing compliance, ensuring all system-based pricing is current and operational.

To serve as an effective bridge between Group Pricing and Group Data Teams, supporting both.

To upload and download data from several systems within the Group.

To support the company’s responsibilities within ESG subjects (Environmental, Social and Governance) regarding vendor management.

To support the development of pricing data to enhance the SmartShop online proposition.

To support the development and management of a Company Vendor database.

To support the development and management of a Company Pricing database.

To support the development and management of a Commercial process to ensure all recorded Net prices and discounts are relevant, accurate and optimize sales and margin.

To support the Data Team to ensure the system data architecture is optimized for effective and efficient pricing.

Skills we're looking for in our Group Pricing Data Governor:

A good understanding of procurement processes to facilitate competitive pricing.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, especially Excel.

Previous experience of MRO products and services would be an advantage.

Good communication and personnel skills to promote a positive working environment.

Have a flexible approach to job tasks, responsibilities and time management.

Willing to develop additional skills to assist with the delivery of Company objectives.

Excellent attention to detail, especially with processes

Be a team player but able to work on their own
