Are you a graduate with a Civil Engineering or Construction background looking to launch your BIM career? A leading marine civil engineering contractor is actively recruiting a Graduate BIM Technician to support the team in delivering infrastructure schemes across the UK’s coastal and port environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on with technical coordination and data management and play a part in the preparation and delivery of complex marine and civil engineering projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the Common Data Environment (CDE) across live projects

  • Support other users and provide basic training on CDE usage

  • Receive, clean, and organise BIM data received from external designers

  • Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for on-site construction and temporary works

  • Input into temporary works design documentation and coordination

  • Work closely with the Technical Services Manager and BIM Coordinator within the design team

    Who We’re Looking For:

  • Recent graduate or junior CAD Technician

  • Degree or apprenticeship in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field

  • Proficient with AutoCAD and ideally familiar with ProCal or other 3D modelling tools

  • Strong digital and IT skills with attention to data integrity

  • Personable, well-spoken, and able to communicate clearly with team members

  • Comfortable in an office-based, data-driven environment

  • Salary range: £24,000 – £30,000
