    Responsibilities in your new role as Forklift Operative

    As a Forklift Operative, you will be responsible for general warehouse duties that involve the physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment. You will operate industrial power equipment, restock and replenish as appropriate, and transport raw materials, full goods, and finished goods to designated areas. It is essential to maintain an orderly and clean work environment in compliance with company health and safety requirements, carry out accurate stock counts, and complete relevant documentation. You will also enter transactions into the operating system, track receipts and shipments, and ensure data integrity and accuracy is maintained at all times. Be prepared to fill in for other positions within the business as required.

    Your personality, experience and qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience and have a valid Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Licence. Having familiarity with computer stock control systems is vital. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, organized, and can work well under pressure. A strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and documentation will also set you apart. If you meet these qualifications and have a passion for warehouse operations, we encourage you to apply!
