Role: Finance-Focused Data Analyst

Location: Ware, Hertfordshire

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 per annum



Infused solutions have partnered with an established client who are on the market looking for a Junior to mid level Data analyst,

This is a key position where data meets finance-you'll play an essential role in ensuring our numbers tell a story that's both accurate and actionable.



💼 Your Responsibilities

Build and refine SQL scripts to extract financial information from multiple data sources
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business needs into data queries and dashboards
Track and interpret trends in income, expenditure, and forecast accuracy
Set up quality assurance measures to flag inconsistencies or anomalies in financial data
Generate regular and on-demand reports that help leadership make informed decisions
Keep technical documentation up-to-date for auditability and future scalability



🧠 What You'll Bring

A background in data analytics, finance, statistics, or a similar discipline
Proficiency in writing, testing, and debugging complex SQL queries
Strong attention to detail and a logical, structured problem-solving mindset
Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical teams
Ability to manage your own workload and adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboard/reporting platforms
Working knowledge of Python, R, or similar languages for data processing
Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting methodologies
