The Finance Systems Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems to support the finance department. This role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial systems.

Description

Manage the configuration, integration, and maintenance of financial systems to meet business requirements.
Provide technical support and training for finance teams using the systems.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations through accurate system controls and reporting.
Work closely with IT teams to resolve system issues and ensure data integrity.
Lead system upgrade projects, including testing and change management processes.
Generate and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Document system processes and maintain user manuals for reference.Profile

A successful Finance Systems Manager should have:

Accounting and/or financial related degree or Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience of implementing and/or changing financial systems
Experienced with data analysis and Excel
