Role Summary: Analyse key operating data in order to drive immediate operating changes. The overall focus will revenue maximization and cost reduction and will be expected to work closely with operational management and support the management accountants.

Main Role Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse daily production data, ensuring data is accurate and reflects actual performance.

• Analyse operational performance vs standard and vs expected profitability to identify variances and drive corrective actions.

• Deliver timely and insightful weekly operational and financial reporting to internal stakeholders and group C-suite.

• Partner with key business stakeholders such as site General Managers and Operations Managers to help them understand and utilise data to make performance improvements and improve profitability.

• Review and challenge recent operational performance and influence future performance by format, product & SKU using Qlik with operational management with as much as reasonable on an “in-person” basis.

• Design and maintain financial models, dashboards and MI tools using Excel to improve visibility of key operational metrics.

• Update the Senior Finance Business Partner, Senior Finance Manager and Management Accountants of all key operating revenue and cost issues to ensure that they are reflected in the Management Accounts.

• Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with any reasonable task This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake other duties as and when requested, within reason and in line with the position.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Substantial experience of modelling using Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence tools

• Knowledge of Prophet and Qlik is desirable

• Experience in an operational, planning or accounts role

• Educated to GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

• Excellent written and spoken English skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Ability and willingness to be flexible, thorough and show attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure, to strict deadlines

• Be organised and methodical in your approach to work
