We have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Data Architect to join Norgine.

The person in this role will report to the Senior Director - Technology and be part of the Data & Technology team.

The core responsibility of the Enterprise Data Architect is to expand the company’s use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals. This involves designing, developing, and implementing data models for enterprise applications and systems across conceptual, logical, business, and application layers. The role advocates data modelling methodologies and best practices, operating within a hybrid environment including on-premise, Azure, OCI, and SaaS platforms.

This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Data and Analytics Strategy

Lead the implementation of data and analytics strategies by developing insights integration approaches aligned with business processes and decisions, collaborating with data users, managers, clients, and stakeholders.

Data Architecture

Translate data strategy into architecture, defining models, rules, and standards for design and governance to support digital transformation initiatives.

Business Requirements Identification

Gather complex business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis, translating them into data models and user cases.

Database Specifications

Approve complex database specifications, ensuring standards are followed and data integrity is maintained, suggesting improvements as needed.

Data Management

Develop and deliver data management systems, establishing processes for metadata governance and accuracy.

Documentation and Backup

Create high-standard technical and user documentation, ensuring data backup and recovery capabilities.

Asset Lifecycle and Interdependencies Management

Manage digital product lifecycle activities, planning, and developing processes to support asset management.

Technical Developments Recommendation

Recommend technical improvements to enhance data software quality and infrastructure.

Technology Implementation

Track data quality, redundancy, and improvements through established methods.

Operational Compliance

Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Operational Risk Management

Manage operational risks aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications include substantial experience as a data architect, preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals, with expertise in data schemas, cloud services (Azure), data governance (Microsoft Purview), Agile and DevOps, MDM, and metadata management platforms.
